Wassana field offshore Thailand back online

KrisEnergy has re-started oil production from the Wassana field in the Gulf of Thailand following the passing of Tropical Storm Pabuk.

Crews have returned to the mobile offshore production unit, and the Rubicon Venture FSO has been reconnected to the Wassana field mooring.

In addition, the jack-up Mist has resumed an infill drilling programme.

Wassana is in the G10/48 contract area in the Southern Pattani basin in water depths of up to 60 metres (197 feet).
