Total and Tatweer eye E&P, LNG cooperation

Total and Tatweer Petroleum – Bahrain Field Develop Company, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in oil and gas exploration, knowledge sharing, and supply of LNG to Bahrain.

Bahraini King Mohamed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa said areas of cooperation including “sharing of experience, expertise, and support on ongoing exploration and production activities in the recently discovered unconventional Khalij Al-Bahrain basin.”

The kingdom earlier was reported to be discussing development of the 2018 offshore discovery with US companies.
