Alan began his career in 1976 at BNOC/Britoil in Finance and Risk Management. In 1986 he moved to the broking sector with Jenner Fenton Slade/Aon. In 2000 he joined Willis to form and become Managing Director of their Global Energy Practice. More recently Alan has worked with Marsh as Managing Director of the Energy practice in London until his recent retirement.

Alan has a total of 41 years experience in the Energy Insurance sector has been regarded as one of the more innovative and technical brokers in the industry. He brings a wealth of experience and a different emphasis to Longdown and will help us continue to deliver a diversity in expertise to our growing list of clients.
