Shelf to customise jack-up for Chevron assignment offshore Angola
Chevron subsidiary Cabinda Gulf Oil Company(CABGOC) has contracted the jack-up Shelf Drilling Tenacious for operations offshore Angola.
The contract will likely start next January and includes extension options.
David Mullen, CEO of Shelf Drilling, said: “The rig will be highly customised for Chevron’s operations in Angola including enhanced offline capabilities similar to our rigs working for Chevron in the Gulf of Thailand.”
