Second condensate loading system in place at South Pars offshore Iran
Pars Oil and Gas Company has installed a second single point mooring at the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf, according to news service Shana.
The system, with a loading capacity of 7,000 cu m/hr (247,203 cf/hr) of gas condensate, was installed on using the Seamaster barge.
Until now, all gas condensate from the Pars 2 Region development phases has been exported to the Phase 12 for loading via a subsea pipeline and a joint metering arrangement.
The second SPM is connected to a 6.8-km (4.2-mile), 36-inch offshore pipeline.
