Lebanon offshore bid round deadline extended

The Lebanese Petroleum Administration has pushed back the closing date for applications to Lebanon’s second offshore exploration licensing round to the 1^st June 2020.

Minister of Energy and Water for Lebanon, Raymond Ghajar, said the decision was taken due to the implications of the spread of COVID-19 and its impact on bid preparations by

interested IOCs.

The previous deadline for submissions was the 30^th April.
