Full availability for Baltic Sea gas pipeline system in 2019
Nord Stream AG transported 58.5 bcm of gas last year to consumers in Europe through the Nord Stream Line 1 pipeline system in the Baltic Sea.
Operations were uninterrupted throughout the year, with loading at a level comparable with that of 2018.
Nord Stream AG conducted annual preventive maintenance last July.
By the end of 2019, a total of 322.5 bcm of gas had been transported since the commissioning of Line 1 in November 2011.
The twin pipeline system extends 1,224 kilometres (760 miles) from Vyborg, Russia to Lubmin near Greifswald, Germany.
