Chevalier wins more work in Dutch North Sea

Dutch offshore accommodation provider Chevalier Floatels has picked up a contract in the North Sea for one of its vessels.

Chevalier said on the 22nd June that this latest deal was awarded to the company’s DP Gezina vessel.

The company added that it saw this as a sign that the oil and gas sector was starting to pick up steam.

The work under the contract consists of small maintenance works to be executed in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.

“Chevalier is especially pleased with the contract as it is a return customer proving the fact that the focus on charterers satisfaction works,” the company said.

As for the vessel, the DP Gezina is a walk to work accommodation vessel with beds for 50 charterers personnel.

This contract comes after Chevalier won a contract in the same section of the North Sea for the DP Galyna in May.

The contract marked the return of the DP Galyna vessel to the oil and gas sector following three years of work exclusively in the renewables market.
